The new kid on the job site offered to get my lunch.
By @brynnee · Work
He's young, probably trying to make a good impression. I told him not to worry about it, but he insisted on grabbing me a sandwich while he was out. Felt weird but I let him.
The full story
He came back with my order, paid for it and everything. Said it was no big deal. Never had a new guy do that before, usually they're the ones you're watching to make sure they're not messing up. It's just a sandwich, but it's the first time in a while someone's done something decent without being asked. Makes you think not everyone is out for themselves.
