Remember when you had to download a whole album to hear one song?

my little cousin (15) was complaining about a spotify ad and i had to explain the horrors of limewire and waiting 4 hours for a song to download only for it to be a virus. she just blinked at me.
The full story
it was like a horror movie. you'd find the song you wanted, click download, and then pray. the progress bar would crawl and you'd just hope it wasn't some weird remix or worse, a file that would brick the family computer. and don't get me started on burning CDs. you had ONE shot to get the tracklist right, and if you messed it up, that CD was a coaster forever. kids today have it too easy with their instant streaming and unlimited skips. they'll never know the struggle.
