My coworker (who is 22) saw my old scratched-up mix CD case in my car and asked what they were. I feel ancient.
The full story
I have a binder of old CDs in my car, mostly mixes I burned in high school and college. My much younger coworker was getting a ride with me to a meeting, and he pointed at it and genuinely asked, 'what are those?' I tried to explain the art of picking the perfect 20 songs, arranging the tracklist, and then waiting an hour for it to burn, only to have it fail. He just stared at me blankly and then showed me his Spotify playlist with 800 songs on it. I’ve never felt so old in my entire life.
