so this is weird, right? my roommate started dating this girl like two weeks ago. she was hanging out at our place last night and we were all just chilling. i was ordering some food for myself and she asked if i had a Doordash account because she had some 50% off coupon for a cookie place that was about to expire. i said sure, and she ordered a single, very specific, $4 cookie. with the coupon it came to $2.31. I honestly didn't care and told her it was no big deal. it's two dollars. i woke up this morning to a venmo request from her for $2.31 with the description '🍪 reimbursement!! 😊'. i've met this girl twice. i haven't accepted it yet because it just feels so weirdly transactional and kinda rude? like is this just how people are now? my roommate is oblivious and just said 'oh yeah she's really responsible with money.' am i crazy or is this super awkward?
