We were talking about old candy and I brought up how much better the original lime skittles were than this new green apple nonsense. My friends acted like I was crazy.

i'm ngl this is a hill i will die on. the lime skittle was the perfect citrus flavor to balance out the other super sweet ones. green apple is too sour and it throws off the whole vibe of the handful. they had a good thing going and they ruined it for no reason. everyone in my friend group is younger than me and they just don't get it. they all grew up with green apple so they think it's normal. bring back lime skittles!
