Leaving a restaurant review under 4 stars is petty and pointless.
By @laneyy · Hot Takes
Unless the place was an active health hazard, anything less than a perfect or near-perfect score just needlessly hurts a small business for minor inconveniences.
The full story
If the service was a little slow, the music was too loud, or your food was just okay and not the best thing you've ever eaten? Get over it. Giving a 3-star review because you had to wait 10 extra minutes for a refill is ridiculous. You're directly impacting someone's livelihood over a minor annoyance. Just don't go back. The only time a negative review is justified is for major issues like health code violations, blatant racism from staff, or something truly dangerous. Otherwise, you're just being a whiny customer with main character syndrome.
