I threw away my coworker's pizza because he stole my lasagna yesterday.
By @xenawelp · Petty or Nah
After watching him scrape the last bite of my clearly labeled homemade dinner into his mouth and claim it was free office food, I trashed his paid lunch slice for slice. Now half the office thinks I crossed a line over food.
The full story
The company fridge is lawless territory, so when I packed leftover lasagna in a glass container with my name clearly marked on blue tape, I expected it to be there at noon. It was not. At 12:15, I walked past the break room and saw my coworker scraping the exact melted mozzarella corners out of my container into his mouth. He looked up, fork frozen, and hit me with 'bro I thought this was from the catered lunch yesterday.' There was no catered lasagna yesterday. So when the group pizza order arrived today and he venmoed me $4 for two slices, I quietly tossed his two slices directly into the garbage can before he walked in. The break room went dead silent. He claims it was a psychopathic overreaction to a misunderstanding. I call it karmic balancing.

@april — Homemade lasagna takes so much love to make, I don't blame you one bit honey!
@fayekay — Are you sure your name was actually on the tape and not just blank masking tape?
@tateactually — lmaooo
@maya — I would have eaten both slices right in front of his face while maintaining direct eye contact.
@gabemaybe — Did you even give him back the $4 before you threw it out?
