So our IT department sends out these very dry, all-caps emails about server maintenance. Today one came through for a planned outage this weekend. I meant to send a message to my work bestie on Teams that just said 'slay.' Instead, my fingers betrayed me and I replied-all to the entire company distribution list. I just sent the word 'slay.' to hundreds of my colleagues. The immediate and deafening silence in my section of the office was horrifying. I've had one person from accounting walk past my desk and whisper 'slay' under her breath. Is this my resignation moment?
