I have created a PowerPoint to settle a group chat argument.

By @jaredok · Friends

My friends and I have a dumb, long-running debate: is a hot dog a sandwich? We were going in circles, so I spent an hour making a full presentation with diagrams and historical sources to prove my point.

The full story

The argument is that a hot dog is not a sandwich. I have title slides, historical context on the Earl of Sandwich, analysis of the bread component (a single hinged bun vs. two separate slices), and a final slide titled 'Conclusion: It Is Not A Sandwich.' My one friend thinks this is the funniest thing ever. My other friend, who is on the 'it is a sandwich' side, says I have 'way too much time on my hands' and am 'sucking the fun out of a dumb argument.' I think I am providing a public service.
