I am one emoji reaction away from leaving my main group chat.

There’s a girl in our 20-person chat who feels the need to 'haha' or 'heart' every single message sent. My phone won't stop buzzing.
The full story
is it petty to be this annoyed? probably. but there's a girl in my big friend group chat who will individually react to every message. someone will say 'i'm running late' and she'll hit it with a thumbs up. someone will send a meme and she'll 'haha' it. it's not a conversation, it's just a constant stream of notifications that she has seen and acknowledged a message. my phone is constantly buzzing for no reason. ngl it makes me wanna throw it at a wall. how do i politely say 'please stop' without seeming like a huge jerk? or do i just mute the whole chat and miss actual plans?

@karay — Oh that would drive me up a wall. It's not petty to want your phone to only buzz for an actual reason!
@yeahmaybe — I mean, what if she's just trying to be friendly and acknowledge everyone?
@kindaover — Your first mistake was being in a 20-person group chat.
@reallytho — lmaoooo
