I had to leave my best friend's bachelorette party early to take my son to the ER.

Now she's barely speaking to me and a few of the other bridesmaids are mad that I 'ruined the vibe' and cost them money (we had a private dinner reservation I missed).
The full story
My son has asthma and he had a really bad attack while I was gone. My husband called me in a panic and I obviously dropped everything to go home. He's fine now, thank God. But my friend is acting like I chose to ditch her. they said I should have 'let my husband handle it' and that I'm not the only parent in the world who has to juggle things. I paid my share for the weekend, except for the dinner I missed. Her maid of honor texted me saying I still owe for the dinner because they had to pay for my spot, and that I made my friend cry. I feel awful, but my kid comes first, always.
