Every time someone 'replies all' to a company-wide email I lose a year off my life.

I'm not talking about important logistical stuff. I mean someone sends an announcement to 500 people and one person replies all with 'sounds good!' and suddenly my inbox is a graveyard.

The full story

It happened again today. Corporate sent the standard 'Don't forget to submit your timesheets' email. A few minutes later, some guy from a department I've never heard of replies all: 'Done!'. Then someone ELSE replies all 'Me too, thanks for the reminder!'. It’s just digital clutter. My phone buzzes, I check it thinking it's something important, and it's just this. I want to mute the thread but what if actual info gets shared later? It's a prison.
