The genre peaked years ago and now it's just a bunch of recycled plots and CGI nonsense. I'm tired of pretending to be excited for the tenth sequel of some random character nobody asked for.

It's over. For a while, they were fun, but now it feels like a factory just churning out the same product with a different costume. There's no risk, no creativity, and the 'multiverse' is just an excuse to bring back old actors for cheap nostalgia points. Every movie is a two-hour trailer for the *next* movie. Nothing has stakes anymore because you know they'll just bring everyone back to life in the next crossover event. People who still line up for this stuff are just paying for homework at this point.
