My new neighbor has started decorating his lawn with rubber chickens.

It started with one on his mailbox. Today I counted six of them, all lined up and facing my kitchen window. I haven't even met him yet.

The full story

I moved in about a month ago, and a new guy moved in next door last week. The first thing he did was put a single rubber chicken on his mailbox. I chuckled. Then a few days later, another one appeared by his front door. Now there is a small, silent army of six rubber chickens in a perfect row on his lawn, and they are all pointed directly at my kitchen window. I don't know if this is a weird joke, a specific aesthetic, or if I'm supposed to do something. What's the protocol here? Do I ask about them? Do I pretend not to notice? I don't want to start a weird neighbor feud.
