My manager ignores me in person then slacks the team good morning.

Every morning she makes direct eye contact with my desk, says nothing, and walks to her office only to message 'good morning team!!' five minutes later. Now people say I'm rude for not saying hi first.
The full story
im interning at an architectural firm this semester and my desk is right by the front door. every single morning my manager walks in, makes direct eye contact with me, and says nothing until she drops her bag off at her office. then five minutes later she slacks the entire team 'good morning team!!' with an exclamation mark. i started matching her energy and just stopped saying hi first, and now another coworker told me i look unapproachable. why do i have to initiate a verbal greeting to someone who stared right through my soul ten seconds ago?

@sortakinda — Did you ever just say good morning to her on day one to see how she responds?
@sageish — Are you sure she's actually locking eyes with you and not just zoning out before having her coffee?
