He's a nice guy otherwise, but at least twice a day he has a full-volume conversation with his wife or a friend. I can hear every single detail of their plans and arguments.

Our office has no cubes, it's all open-plan with shared tables. This one coworker, who sits directly across from me, seems to think his AirPods are just for decoration. Every day, like clockwork, he'll get a call and just answer it on speaker. It's never work-related. It's arguments with his contractor, lengthy discussions about dinner with his wife, or drama with his friends. I've tried giving him 'the look.' I've tried putting my own headphones on very pointedly. Nothing works. I don't want to make it a whole HR thing, but my focus is shot.
