I'm on a small marketing team with this guy, and we've always had a good, friendly rapport. We matched on Hinge over the weekend, and I initiated a chat just to be friendly, honestly not thinking much of it. The conversation was totally normal but brief. Now it's Monday, and he's actively avoiding me. He stared at his shoes during our morning meeting and sent me a super stiff email about a project we're collaborating on. It's just... uncomfortable. I don't even care about the match, I just want our normal work dynamic back without this cloud of awkwardness hanging over every interaction.
