I had to drop a class because my ex is in it and won't stop staring at me.

We broke up two months ago and it was messy. I thought enough time had passed, but every time I look up in this seminar he's just looking at me and it makes my skin crawl. It's a required class for my major.
The full story
i know it sounds dramatic but you dont get it. he was awful to me and now i have to sit there for three hours a week while he just... stares. it's not like a 'hey' look, it's a creepy, intense stare. i can't focus on the professor, i can't think straight. i tried talking to him after the first class and he just said 'it's a free country i can look where i want.' so yeah i dropped it. now i have to overload next semester to catch up and my advisor is annoyed. my friends think i gave him too much power but i literally couldn't handle it.
