It's never technically urgent, which almost makes it worse. It's always a 'quick question' that proves my time off isn't actually respected.

I get the Slack notification and my stomach just drops. Today it was a message at 10am asking 'Sorry to bother, do you have the link to that Q3 planning doc?' It's a file that's saved in our team's shared drive where it always is. My boss could have asked anyone else on the team who was actually working, or spent 30 seconds looking for it. It just completely punctures the feeling of having a real day off.
