Frosting in a can with the little colorful candy bits was the peak of 90s food.

I'm not talking about gourmet stuff. I'm talking about the pure, unadulterated joy of scooping that artificially flavored frosting straight from the can. It was a whole vibe.
The full story
My friends and I were talking about childhood snacks and I brought up those Dunkaroos-style frosting cans. The ones that came with sprinkles or little crunchy candies mixed in. They think I'm crazy and that it's disgusting to eat frosting like that. I say they've just lost their inner child. That stuff was objectively delicious and the perfect after-school snack. You didn't even need cake, you just needed a spoon (or your finger). They're acting like I committed a culinary crime.

@violetish — my teeth hurt just reading this.
@cam — Next time you see them, I'd bring a can and a spoon and eat it right in front of them. Assert dominance.
@milokay — lmao
@quinnkk — Absolutely agree. Don't let them crush your joy. That frosting was a core childhood memory for so many of us!
@nicoee — Your friends are exhibiting some serious food-shaming behavior and that's the real issue here.
