About BeSoForeal

Most of us have had one of those situations where we genuinely can't tell if we're being reasonable.

Maybe it's an argument with your partner that keeps going in circles. Something a friend said that didn't sit right. A coworker who crossed a line. A family disagreement where everyone seems convinced they're right. You tell a few people about it, get three completely different answers, and somehow end up less sure than when you started.

That's the idea behind BeSoForeal. We wanted to build a place where you could put a situation in front of other people and simply ask: What do you think? Not based on how many followers you have, not based on who tells the best story in the comments, and not based on whichever opinion happens to get the most attention. Just the situation, the choices, and the vote.

A different kind of social platform

Most social platforms are built around people — you follow accounts, build an audience and collect likes. BeSoForeal is built around the question instead. You choose where you stand before seeing how everyone else voted, and only then do the results open up. Sometimes the crowd agrees with you, sometimes you're firmly in the minority, and sometimes a situation that seemed obvious splits people right down the middle.

Built for the questions we already ask each other

BeSoForeal is for the moments when you find yourself asking: Am I overreacting? Was that actually rude? Who's wrong here? Is this normal? Relationships, friendships, family, work, money, dating, everyday etiquette and petty disagreements — if two reasonable people could look at the same situation and come away with different opinions, it probably belongs here.

How it works

Every post starts with a situation and a choice. Read what happened and make your call before seeing how everyone else voted. Once you've voted, the results open up and you can see how your answer compares. The comments add the why behind someone's vote, but everyone starts in the same place: answering the question for themselves. Be real. Pick a side. See what people think.
